$10 DISPOSABLE; PRICELESS MEMORIES
Do yourself a favor..
Book a couple plane tickets with your best friend for a trip 6 months later.. Work like crazy and save every penny until then. Go and spend all that money you just worked for on priceless memories
Buy a disposable camera: carry it in your pocket like it’s your whole life. Anything that makes you feel a little thing in that second, take a photo. Then wait a month or two, to get that film developed and feel yourself back in those feelings and memories. Those one second feelings
Live off of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for a couple weeks, buy too many gas station snacks
Stay out drinking and dancing until the sun rises
Live out of a backpack
Wear the same clothes for a week straight
Meet new people everywhere you go
Laugh a lot
Cry a little bit
And don’t forget to slow down time, to put the camera away. To really feel yourself in that moment, that one in a life time moment.
To make priceless memories..
This life is all about the stories. And you’re the writer.
Thailand
Either in LA or Bangkok making our way to Krabi. Stoke level still at an all time high, even after a day and a half of travel already.
Views from our back porch at our first hotel - Alisea Boutique. One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever been able to stay at
Our scooter Jen from the 3 days in Pai - this night we went searching for a party we heard in the distance. Found nothing but successfully scootered in the dark.
Temple visits in Krabi, planned by our adopted grandma Pat. Can almost feel the sweat again from how hot it was this morning
Got shuttled to a private beach for lunch on our second day in Thailand.. A dream I’ll be wanting to go back to forever now
Krabi. The most beautiful area of Thailand, views like this every which way you look. The rock formations with palm trees surrounding is like something out of a movie. Can’t believe I even saw this with my own eyes
London and Paris
Spring time in London.. exploring beautiful parks with flowers all around. Definitely fell in love and need to go back
London stole my heart with our short day exploring castles, beautiful parks, churches and the cute alleyways. Also eating the BEST PASTA
Sat here and watched the world pass by while everyone had to be somewhere, we took our shoes off and stayed awhile..
Cheap champagne waiting for the sun to set and the Eiffel Tower to light up.. finally had that picnic I’ve dreamt about
Iceland
Night one in the van.. can’t believe this was our backyard. When we pulled in at night it was blue hour at 11PM and we didn’t even see these mountains. Waking up here was unbelievable for our first day.
Our first waterfall visit.. can almost feel the mist spraying us again from the second we opened the door.
My most heartfelt photo.. can feel the happiness radiating from me again, visiting Skogafoss was unbelievable.
One of the thousands of roads travelled in Iceland, but the one I’ll ALWAYS remember. For at least 5 minutes I thought the glacier running along the road in front of us was a cloud and when I found out it was part of the glacier from Glacier Lagoon. My mind was absolutely blown. Without a doubt, a day I’ll remember until I die.
One of those views that no photos I took will do justice.. the most incredible place I’ve ever seen. I couldn’t even believe how massive the glaciers were in between mountains I’ve never seen before. A view I’ll never forget
Our home from Lagoon Car Rental.. became way too attached to our house on wheels. It was a trip I had imagined for 6 years even longer and it was better than I couldn’t have dreamt. Some things are just better than your dreams, crazy to think it can be reality..
When we realized that we’ll be making hundreds of stop offs on roads like this all day and every day
Place wrecks in the middle of nowhere.. Was suppose to hike 4 miles round trip but somehow ended up hitchhiking a ride on the tour bus from a really nice guy. The hike back to the car was worth it though, Cierra and I had some of the deepest conversations our friendship has heard.
One of those places that you’ll see hundreds and hundreds of photos of, but will never create the same feeling of standing right in front of.
Roadside stop offs.. spent way too long running in the middle of the road here. Excitement level was through the roof - standing on top of the van and screaming type excitement.
Truly the most beautiful place to have randomly stumbled upon.. didn’t see anybody this day deep in the mountain pass.
Cierra after she took this “You’re going to die when you see this photo developed.. it looks like a painting”
- So true. This spot was so insane to see just as a roadside pull off.
Still the best hot spring I’ve ever been in.. Even if I had to stay in one corner where all the warmth is. All the views made up for it
For as much as Skógafoss is talked about and how popular it is.. Somehow we ended up with 10 minutes to ourselves. Just us and the waterfall. It felt special. But then again, all of Iceland does.
A night I’ll always be looking back on.. Our first real sunset - we were RACING to get here before the sky changed from pink to blue. Needless to say we made it and we were too excited we ran out leaving the van doors open. It was such a magical night Can’t believe a disposable took this. The reflection was absolutely gorgeous
The happiest moments of my life.. happened in this van and on these roads. Iceland I’ll be back. You have my heart
Ireland
Ran around Cliffs of Moher for an hour like we were little kids in Disneyland for the first time.. One of the best nights of my life
Making breakfast at camp next to the ocean.. Oatmeal with peanut butter and instant coffee: always on the menu.
Simple moment of appreciation for Cierra.. a best friend that shares the same exact interests as me, feels hard to find. Remember how sentimental I felt this day
Almost got blown off the Cliffs during this from the wind.. can feel the excitement and happiness we had this night, all over again. The type you want to scream to the world to. Everything was perfect
Had the sketchiest drive to get here.. well worth it. One of the most beautiful views I’ve ever stood in front
Sat here for almost an hour watching the waves crash and surfers ride them.. felt like time was non existent.
Easily one of the mornings that made me fall in love with Ireland.. all the little daisies, the crystal clear ocean water, white soft sand.
Our last real night in the van.. The sun set extra slow this night and we could see all the way to the ocean and the town below. Felt like the world was ours.
Silent Disco on bar 4 of the pub crawl on our last night.. Lucky to have had my best friend by my side the whole time. Everyone this night kept saying how amazing it was we knew each other for 14 years - they were right.
All the girls we dragged from our hostel room out on the pub crawl.. plus two girls we knew from ALL THE WAY back home. Life felt crazy this night
