FAQ

How old are you?

21 years young!

How do you pay for your travels?

I used to work full time at a salon as a manager. So I worked 40 hour weeks with overtime as well, I just stacked up my savings. Right now I work as a barista so I have a great balance between work and my blog! I also don’t spend a lot of money on unnecessary things. All of my money is spent on bills, gas and food.

How do you plan your travels?

I use an abundance of resources to find my places.. Pinterest, Instagram, Other peoples blogs/vlogs, Google maps, WTA (Washington Trails Association: for all of my hikes) Honestly, I spend hours upon hours searching for places to explore since I like to go off the beaten path. Hence why I don’t share a ton of places, plus that takes away half of the fun!

And then in terms of putting my trip together I use Google Maps on Google Drive.

  • I will write a blog or make a video about this soon and then link it here! Stay tuned

What is your dream travel destination?

Next on the list would be Turkey after crossing off Thailand and Iceland.. Seeing those hot air balloons take off at sunset OH MAN I’m booking my ticket.

What camera do you have?

Canon 6D with a 24-70mm f2.8 lens - I also recently started to shoot film so I’m super excited to start sharing that on here more!

Where are you from?

I live about an hour north of Seattle, WA.

In a little town situated right between Mount Baker and North Cascades. - Got pretty lucky to grow up here.

Did you ever want to go to college?

NO! I honestly always hated school. I was someone that did the bare minimum when it came to high school. My senior year I legit had 4 classes, 2 of which were a Teacher’s Assistant so I always just left to go hiking before work. I fell in love with nature my freshmen year of HS and always had an itch to be in the mountains. I planned to go to Thailand to teach abroad after I graduated. But things fell through with a money shortage, so I put it off. I’m really hoping to do that come 2019 though or get a working visa.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Hopefully turning my dreams into reality! I’ve never been more determined and confident with myself than I am right now. So I really hope that with all my hard work I’m ready to put in, I’ll be making a living off of my blog in a few years. As I know it will take time. Other than that I still really do want to go teach abroad somewhere.
